pull handles for tanks

Question.
My 2014 3305 has one handle missing for the tank rod between the tires. On my last fiver I lost one and found replaced with a generic one that fastened easily to the threaded rod. It seems on the voltage the threads are on the inside on the rod????
they were not on the outside unless a section was cut off. Was hard to see but looked like inside.
Anyone verify? can you find handles with to thread to inside?
Thanks

Lost mine to and would like to replace it. The only handles I have found are the ones you have mentioned that screw onto a stud on the cable side. Does any one know where to find a replacement

Ended up buying the handle with extension that is used for the regular outside thread. There is a piece that just barely fit over the original rod and then had the pull handle attached to outside thread. Used locktite blue on the fittings.
20 bucks locally.

Wow tried ordering from the link so nicely offered but this company online service doesn't work. Do you have part number/manufacturer. Thanks

Nope not Mercedes. Just the RV industry making their 75% profit margin.

The only time I will buy anything from an overpriced RV store is when they are the only game in town.

My local auto parts store has a great selection of RV stuff and if they don't have it on the shelf they have a catalogue that they can get most of the parts I have ever needed.

As an example I broke the screen door latch on our trip this past summer. Couldn't find one in the auto parts store in Alaska, so of to an RV store. Cost me $25US for the same latch that my parts store sells for $20C.
