Prewired for Furrion backup camera

I just installed a Furrion backup/observation camera. The camera fits in the housing already on the camper. It syncs perfectly with the monitor. The problem is, the pre-wire is constantly hot - the camera stays on. It stays on whether plugged up to the truck, House, or just the battery.
Does anyone have a schematic showing where the pre-wire is connected to source power, so I can put a switch inline to turn the camera off when not needed?
It’s on a new, 2018 Voltage 3605.

Wow, I wish I had that problem. Mine works off of the running lights. You have the makings of a security cam for nighttime camping.

Will be watching to see if you figure this out. I can offer one bit of advise. Temporary maybe. Find the fuse and pull it. For storage purposes.

Good luck
Bill

2014 3905 and mine is on constant as well. I cannot tell where it is connected as the wiring on mine goes right into a hole in the roof. Schematic unfortunately isn't going to happen. I have considered cutting a round hole in the ceiling in the garage in order to try to figure out a switch but and use a cover like you see below your mixing valve in the shower, but just haven't gotten around to it.

Some folks over on the Grand Design forum have been having the same exact issue with their camera wiring. A lot of them have cut the wire, Capped off what is going into the trailer and rewired the camera to one of the rear running lights. They have to drive with the lights on to have the camera powered up but at least it turns off when the lights are turned off.

Did you ever figure this out? We are replacing our camera and we also determined the wire is always hot. Would love to know where it is getting the power from.
