Power Awnings need help to extend

I have a 2016 voltage 3895 with 2 carefree of colorado power awnings they will not extend with out me pulling out on the arms. Motor is working and unrolling the fabric. both retract fine. Just wont extend with out me pulling out on the arms

Sounds as if the arms might be binding in which case I would go back to the dealer and let them figure out the problem.

Had same issue when I bought mine. Was placed on the list when I took it in for warranty work and they adjusted it

I had a strong gust of wind tweak the arms on my front awning causing the same problem. I just got up on a ladder and tweaked it back. That improved the operation but it still doesn't run in /out as smooth as the rear awning.

You may also want to try a shot of silicone lubricate spray on the rail pins. That stuff works great for everything on the trailer except airing up the tires.

My rear runs smooth, but every once in a while I have to give the rear arm a push, otherwise it will just spin in place.

My front is noisy as a coon dog howling when opening/closing...also makes the same racket when fully opened in light winds.
