Looking at buying a Kodiak 292 TQB

Looking at purchasing a 2012 Kodiak 292 TQB and am looking for feedback from people who have or had one.

Is the fresh water tank really only 46gals or is that a misprint some where? The grey water tank is 67 and the black 28? Seems really small. Has anyone added bigger tanks?

Anything else to watch for?

If those are the correct tank sizes they are actually pretty good. And sized properly, too many builders put too large a black tank and too small a gray tank in. You probably don't want too big a fresh water tank, water is heavy and you can run over your weight limits very quickly. The bulk of RV's are used in a campground setting where you typically will have water and electric hookups, sewer is a maybe. For that the unit you are looking at it is very well set up.

Thanks for the info. We camp mostly off road/back country. The other trailers I looked at had 80 or 100gal fresh water tanks and 50gal grey/black.

Seems really silly to me to have a grey water tank that much bigger than your fresh water.

Fresh water is relatively easy to replenish, grey water is harder to get rid of?

When we camp at the local state park it isn't unusual for our gray tank to fill up much faster than the black tank. They only have electric and water hookups there. If we are going to be there more than a weekend we carry our portable dump tank with us.

I guess you are going to have to decide what features are the most important to you.
