linc remote sync

I noticed after opening up the land yacht after storage that the linc remote doesn't work anymore. I've tried the Lippert instructions repeatedly and nothing. I press and hold the black button on the receiver and press the light button on the remote - no click. Anyone had this issue? How did you get it to work again?

zinger,

Did you try to replace the battery if it wouldn't hold a charge. I lost mine, so I can't check it out...that's all I got!!!

Believe it or not the remote held the full charge thru the winter - it turns on, goes thru the various menus and even gets to the configuration menu just fine. Just seems to have lost it's connection to the receiver...there is no corresponding action on the rig when I press any of the buttons. The interior remote on the wall is working just fine...

If you think the remote is bad, there is a person on ebay selling them for 40 bucks. I bought one and it works like a charm. I believe the reason the inside one works is because it aint really a remote. It has a communication cable running from it to the reciever IIRC.

Is your antenna wire still hanging out of the controller?

Update. Had contacted LCI by email and they were helpful as they could be with basic troubleshooting but no success. I was set to call them Friday morning after setting up for our weekend of camping. Thursday night I just found it hard to trust the battery gage on the face of the remote - read completely full after sitting all winter. I plugged the remote in over night. Friday morning as I prepared to call Lippert, I decided to check things out one more time. It all worked without attempting to resync. I guess bottom line is don't believe the gage on the remote even though the remote seemed to be operating just fine. I assume there wasn't enough juice to reach out and broadcast to the receiver.
