LCI LevelUp + Linc Remote?

Anyone connected their Linc remote to their leveling system? Both are by Lippert but they are no help, and either Dutchmen or the dealer did not finish the wiring/programming. The promo material touts this in their 'rapid camp' ads but ours controls the awnings and 1 of the slides. Looks like the other slide and the LCI level system was Just not set up. I figured out how to program the Linc remote and change the pin, and even how to add the level system to the Linc remote, but it does not actually work. Certainly wires would need to be run from the hydraulic control to the Linc control receiver, if not already I would think. I will have to trace them. I asked, but I could not get LCI to send me the wiring instructions or diagram on what each connection screw on the control unit is for.

LCI has on there site a document to identify which control board you have. I, too, was hoping I could set up my level up to run off the Linc remote, but ID'd my control board as one that would NOT support the level up - not enough circuits/relays on it.

I got it to work today. Download the LCI leveling '3rd party' doc from their site and it has the wireless sync steps. What model receiver is your linc setup?

Mine is only the 5 circuit controller. Looks as though you were one of the lucky ones that got the deluxe model that day.

My remote works the leveling system, the only part I have not been able to work is having it return to the height we disconnected.

Donzinger- What month did they build yours?

My remote has quit working recently, it appears the battery will not recharge.

I am not sure of the build date. I'd have to check when I get home.

Would be nice to be able to run the system from the remote, but I don't have that many functions available on the receiver board. I have considered this fall once the season is over to move the LCI control panel from the basement compartment to an enclosed hatch type door inside the propane compartment to make it easier to see the hitch when raising/lowering...

It's not a matter of syncing the wireless remote. I have the 7 function motherboard but only 4 functions connected. I have been unable to locate a wiring diagram to connect additional functions even though there are several unattached wire pairs next to the motherboard. etrailer.com sells replacement remotes at a reasonable price. The battery is not replaceable. I would love to get a pic of your motherboard showing the wire sets that allow you to control your leveling system!

Turns out there is no additional wire needed. it is a matter of a) programming the linc remote to have the leveler app, and b) syncing the leveler system with the lync receiver. How? they are both wireless. Download that 3rd part doc on the leveling system from the lippert site. there is an install manual, an owners manual, but those don't show the crucial step.

Looks as though you have a newer level up controller on your 2015 than we do. My remote is capable of adding control over my level up but my receiver for the remote is for slides, awning and exterior light only.

Here are some pictures. The LCI 18698 5-function Linc Receiver is on the 3800's passenger side baggage compartment roof, and the LCI LevelUp Receiver is on the generator compartment roof. both have small wire antennas.

Looks like that Level Up receiver is the biggest difference. I wonder if that is something you could get, and transplant for not too much $, and that might be the main change between LCI Ground Control 2 and 3 ?

VCToyhauler... so what your saying is that all I have to do is follow the instructions in the manual you linked and I'm golden? I have the same setup as you and will try this and post back if it works when I get to the TH...

Yes Sir! That is all that was missing. I certainly hope it works for you too, and saves you from spending the time I did.

I could not find anyone at Dutchmen, Lippert, my dealer, or at the place I store at that knew how, and some did not even know it could be done.

To some it may seem like a luxury, but to us it is essential, as we can't see the jacks from where we need to put our head in order to see and press the console buttons on the Voltage 3800, and possibly all the Voltage models with this package.

Please let me know how it goes!

Looks like I also have an older model Controller. No antenna and as I work thru the directions I get to the point where the controller doesn't acknowledge the remote. Thanks for the help. Maybe I'll try to find out about an upgrade.

New controller runs $400 - $600 depending on the source. Waiting to hear from LCI if this will plug and play in our existing systems.
