You are supposed to place the jack on the frame. I've done one tire at a time by jacking up the respective axel end. Some people use a Trailer Aid wedge to drive one axel on, lifting the other off the ground.

There are no areas of the frame visible that I can find. I read somewhere to jack it up by the axle as close to the shackle as possible. I just don't want to tweak anything.
