Help... Leak. (video)

Please take a look at my video of my ongoing water leak. I have been battling this since last fall.

Thanks

Thanks Jim. I never seem to find what I'm looking for in forum searches.

I feel II have already did the fix as stated in the other post, however I set up space heaters under the floor today to dry it out and this saturday I'll remove the old sealant (white globs at bottom of rails in vid) and try again.

Perhaps its possible the water is rolling under the outside of the rail (as it should) but continuing to weep to the OSB. I might look at adding a, for a lack of a better term, "lip" on the under side of the rail to give the water something to drip off of.

No problem, all part of the service.

I think your a candidate for a floor replacement. If it was me, I would replace the floor with plywood with an epoxy paint on the underside. Before installing the new floor, I would wrap the edges of the plywood with the self sealing fooring underlay. I'm pretty sure that you could find a roofer that would let you have a chunk for a dozen adult beverages.

Thanks for that video, Larry. Perfectly shows the same problem on my 2012 3905 bedroom slide floor. I've also yet to trace exactly how the heck water is finding a way in. It's been recommended to plug the ends of the slide rails (which i will do come spring). But I'm still baffled how water could find its way to the rail ends in the first place, as they are not exposed to the open air. Unless I'm overlooking something. I'll be watching this thread very closely in hopes to learn (which i still have a lot to do!

MAKE DUTCHMAN PAY TO FIX. Had the exact same problem on my 2013 V3950. Basically ALL slides with the Shwintek system have this problem. With some pressure from you and your dealer Dutchman will pay. They did for us.
