The stove will work when the furnace won't, it takes less gas to ignite and doesn't have any kind of control board. It will work but not be working correctly.

That being said, it sounds as if there a gas flow problem. Empty tanks, bad change over regulator or the single stage regulator bad.

Can you hear the burner trying to ignite?

Sounds like you have air in the line and furnace is not getting propane or igniter is not working. I have had air get into. The system if I am running furnace and run out of propane. If you have good access you can bleed line where it connects at furnace. Simply loosen connection nut enough to allow air to escape until you smell propane. Re tighten and try turning unit. If that doesn't work could be igniter. Make sure electrical connection is good.

Once you bleed it may take a few cycles before propane is completely in furnace. So when heater fan comes on and there is no ignition just let it cycle and try it several more times. If it doesn't ignite then time to check out igniter. Had another 5th wheel that didn't have automatic tank switch so invariably when it was cold almost always dark I would run tank dry and draw air into the system ugh!! No heat. Good luck !!
