Front Tongue Jack Adjustment

Hello All the TT. I have a question that I hope I can find an answer. I have a 2014 Voltage 3600. I was looking at the front tongue jacks. I noticed on the mounting plate on trailer to the tongue Jack that there is 2-3 holes without bolts which I am thinking that that would weaken the tongue Jack. Has anyone heard, done, or seen anybody tale the tongue Jack bolts out and moved the tongue Jack up where it would be flush with the mounting bracket on trailer and install every hole with bolts instead of leaving some empty. You would be lowering the from Jack about two inches. If anyone with experience with this please let me know. This is my first post so I don't how to see if anybody response. Help

Are you speaking of the hydraulic leveling jacks? If so, all those extra holes are for adjustment of the system when installed. It is made to fit on a variety of trailers, you can add more nuts/bolts if you want, but would be overkill...if you do, be sure they are up to the task of handling the weight, otherwise you would be wasting your time.

Lippert 5th wheel hitch

If your trailer is high in the front while on your truck you can pull the six bolts and raise hitchabout two inches. I did it last January with the help of afew friends, a 50 gal. drum and a jack. I also put 16.5 trailer tires on. Raised the trailer about 3 inches to level with truck.

Thanks for the reply. I was actually talking about the front levelers. Moving the hydrolic cylinders up 2 spaces to make the front more stable. I did not know if that would help

I just thought by making both plates even, it would make them the Rams would be stronger when set up for camping. Thank you for you first response.
