Front jacks

Hey everyone. I just joined. I have a question about the front jacks on my triton 2951. It is a 2018 and the tabs that stick out of the jacks should be lined up with the main bracket but they are right next to the bolt that clamps the bracket closed. Is that right? In my mind the tab is what pushes up on the bracket to raise the camper.

On a few trailers back when I had the electric jacks I thought the same thing, it seems they are all that way, just my 2 cents worth

Jacks turned WRONG!

Ummm... Those jacks are turned wrong! The side brackets should line up with those punch outs. When you stabilize the camper those punch outs give the brackets support to grab hold onto. They should line up perfectly to give support going up and down. Otherwise the jack could slip during setup. Roger P.
