Front and rear doors

I go down the road in average of 2,000 miles a month. Have had my rear door pop open while towing down the road. Locked no problem. Now on my most recent trip to Portland Oregon my front door popped open while towing. Hmmm
Must be frame flex. Any ideas. Dont necessarily like to keep front door locked just out of convenience

You voltage guys think that 5th wheels were made to tow around.
That's why I don't go over 50 miles to a campground.

How can the door come open? Don't you have the foldable grab handle across the door when towing.
I always have my dead bolt locked when towing.

Yeah regular door handles. I don't always lock the front foot just out of laziness/convenience but yesterday popped open while going down the road. Wow I may have to exert energy and lock it. Dang

Bill: You drive to many miles...LOL My Fuzion did that on and off, Like you said, the frame flex was doing it every time we went into or out of a driveway or something like that, our door from the kitchen to the garage would also come open, we ended up putting the foldable grab handles on both outside doors and putting a tie on the inside door.....The Voltage has been OK

Front and rear doors

Rich where did you get folding handles and curious what they look like. I am near Portland, Oregon right now and there is a very large rv parts center near where I am. Any info would greatly appreciated. Yep I don't think many folks really use there Voltage as much as we do. The more we use it the more we like it!!!

Bill, you see them, camping world for around $35.00 "Lend A Hand", they come in White, Silver and Black, when you fold them against the door, they keep the door from opening....

Bill, Good Luck, that use to drive me NUTS....by the way, when you take off the standard handle, the top of the new handle should fit in the old holes, but you will have to drill new lower holes and plug up the old handle holes...Have a safe trip up North...

Rich didn't know if you saw my post about replacing tires. Got 18,000 miles out of the Westlakes with no issues other than not that great of mileage. Got a set of Carlisle 235 85 16 F series. Didn't know the stock rims were good for 110lbs. Any ways raises trailer about an inch which helped with nose up attitude. Monster tires look H D
Will keep you posted on results

Bill, that good to know, I still got my bombs, I have about 15K on mine, when not in use, I have the Trailer off the ground, so I don't get any flat spots and there covered….Let me know how the Carlisle do, I know I will be buying soon…

They look good and I really like F rating. Got them in Carson at the old big 0 tires on hot springs road. With tandem axles I probably wore mine out sooner than your 3 axles. These carry 95 lbs max pressure. My trailer doesn't sit long no worry with flat spots.

Can't see going down the road without the doors locked.

Never use the "door lock" just the "deadbolt". And have a lend-a-hand on both doors.

Have had to rework the door frame plates to get the deadbolts to move smoothly. But not that much work.

At least with the hydraulic leveling the doors open! Our first TH was a Jayco bumper pull and I can't remember the number of times frame flex kept the door from opening. Had to use the manual jacks most places we stopped, just to get in and get something.

Voltage is so much better!!

I am lazy when I pull over to use the restroom I hate having to unlock door... What's wrong with me. This is pthe first time in over 18,000 miles that the front door has popped open. Guess the deadbolt will do it...

Bill, I know what you mean...so I got a nice key ring for my belt, put the trailer key ring on a 3" carabiner...and hook it on the belt ring.

So the keys are always handy for those times....
