I would look at the adjustment of the door handle or striker. The striker on my back door had to be shimmed out to make sure the door stays closed. There is some adjustment in the handle but not much. I would make sure that the latch is getting in to the striker deep enough.

If you do not have to pull the handle all the way before the door releases, then you need to shim the striker out. From there its trial and error, unless you remove the screen door first.

Bill,

Find some reviews of those locks, before plopping your money down. Lance offers them as an option on their trailers and truck campers. A lot of people are not impressed with the overall quality or operation of them. One common complaint is that the interior handles are plastic, a few have broken, there have been a few more that have had programming issues. Yes they can go back to manual, but then you are right back where you started, less the cost of the lock.

After taking a close look at one I don't think I would be willing to spend the money on them.

Aaron
