Piece of cake, however hope it dont happen again. I got the fender 65" for 79.00 online free shipping. The Dealer wanted double the price. The only benefit from dealer may have been cut to fit. Downside from dealer, could have taken several weeks or more to get. Anything I can do on my own I will.

Last night we were watching tv and the wood molding fell off the ceiling Sooooo, today I'm getting out my air nail gun and shoot some 1 1/4" 18 guage brad nails into it. After looking at it one end of the molding had 1" nails none in the middle of the molding.... and 1/2" nails at the other end which apparently let go. Glad it did hit us in the head!

So, you just replaced the fender itself and not the skirt with the dent in it?

That skirt is gonna have to have more damage than that before I replace it. Used hammer and flat dolly flattened it out and put a nice American Flag sticker over it to cover marks.

Looks like something jumped in the way of a turn.
I had something do that to me on the left rear corner but was able to pound it out. I fixed my driveway entrance so it couldn't jump out again.

Ground level utility box backed into me while the backer person was watching the other side.

Should be repaired in the next few days if my pieces make it before the 4th.

Actually Slim, you shamed me into making the repairs. It's only been broken almost a year.

Yea I had the corner eve of my garage do that to me 15 years ago. Different location & different home. I have 5 acres now so have lots of room to park now.
I have my brothers TT & a friends horse trailer plus my two 5th wheels at my place.

This will cost me 125 bucks including the black vinyl sticker and a couple hour's work.

The local heating and cooling shop ordered the white aluminum from a sign shop and the tin bender will bend it for me at no extra cost.

The local sign shop ordered the vinyl for me, they have 14 inch wide stuff in stock but that would have caused a seam to cover the widest 24 inch portion.

Just FYI for anyone needing to do a replacement of the aluminum, it doesn't have to involve the dealer or manufacturer or big bucks and wait time.

If that sticker says "Made in America" on it, you're making us all look bad by putting it on the Dutchmen product!

Actually it's an American Flag with Harley Davidson under it. Sad part is, while Harley is made in the USA alot of its parts are made elsewhere. And the fact of the matter is our units are American made. BUT it too has parts made elsewhere!

Yep, couldn't sleep more than 12 or 13 hours at night with it bruised like that.

Zombies As someone who lives in the Memphis metro, I'd have to agree that's pretty spot on. The #1 rule of driving in Memphis is you just keep going. Debris, couch, mattress, massive pothole, stray dog, yellow light, red light that just turned red etc...you just keep moving otherwise you'll be rear ended. The only time you ignore this rule and let off the gas is when there's a wreck to gawk at or scary wet stuff falling from the sky.
Glad you made it out with only minor damage.

Not sure if you got the J trim fixed or not but two things...

1) J trim is very cheap.. probably the cheapest part you'll ever replace on your trailer...lol.

2) If the dent is minor, check with a PDR guy in your local town.

Just a suggestion.
