FantasticVent Fan Motors Burned Out (brushes)?

Howdy,

I have a pair of FantasticVent fan vents that stopped working, mostly. Sometimes one of them works, but is slow. I suspect the motors are burned out (brushes worn out) since I used them a lot. They're canister style motors. The lid switches are operational.

Replacement motors don't seem to exist, is there an alternative, like perhaps a fan kit? I've seen those, are they legit?

Thanks.

I had to replace one of mine last summer. I bought it from a local trailer supply store. It was Motor, bracket, and fane blade.
The supply store on Boulder highway. "Trailer Supply"

Try contacting Fantastic Vent directly? I have had them send me parts in the past, even on stuff that was out of warranty.

IF the motors did have brushes the brushes could be replaced. However, it's doubtful your 'canister' motors have brushes and are more commonly known as shaded pole motors.
Maybe a little oil would speed them up, give that a go.
