Next month "February 2015" my warranty runs out. Throughout the year I've taken care of most all the minor issues myself leaving a couple towards the end. One of them was a leaking front hydraulic jack, the other a cargo door up front not sealing properly allowing water intrusion into the compartment.
Notified dealer, they ordered jack, I brought the unit in and they replaced. They also adjusted the compartment door. Also had them check a few other things I had on the list. Its been two weeks jack seems to be fine, water leak worse than what it was! Guess I'll have to fix that myself. :-(
Point of all this, been a pretty good year with it. Several thousand miles no major issues. Thats a good thing. Of course I may be singing a different song next time out...
A reminder, if your dealer/factory warranty is fixing to expire... do a good walk through and return to dealer to get repaired if needed, especially major items. After that, your on your own unless you have an extended warranty plan. And I'm not sure how good those plans are.
