Dyslexic Fan
So my range hood was sucking hot air in from the outside into my rig to add to the heat that my oven was producing. The leads going to the motor were backwards, and it would figure that the best craftsmanship I have seen this far was put into the soldering and shrink wrap going to the motor. Now that it's fixed, the hood works great!

Same Here
I had the same thing on my new one. Bad part is that I was frying sausage for breakfast and it set of the smoke alarm!
But now I know the smoke alarm works!

Our smoke alarm goes off with the toaster, so we plug it in outside. Also bacon and sausage are cooked outside in skillet on the Q weber.

Smoke alarm... means DINNER IS READY!
We cook outside most of the time, just prefer it that way.

Are you using one of the weber griddles for this, or an aftermarket? We are looking for something to do bacon on.

We are using our Q weber grill. Put a cast iron skillet in the grille, close the lid heat it up. Put in bacon or sausage close the lid and 15mins or so all cooked.
Could also probably put directly on grille but have not done that.

We found a weber griddle to fit our Q in a WalMart in Canada. Used it once. I cook bacon and sausage right on the grate. It's cast iron and once it is seasoned it is great for cooking on. Each camping season we reseason the grate by cooking bacon as first meal on it.
