Carrying Ramps on top of Axles

How about some opinions on this. I want to be able to carry my ATV ramps without having to be tripping over them all the time. In the garage they are just in the way. And there is no room in the bed of my pickup.

Here are a couple of pictures. You can see the are strapped on with double straps front and rear. They are rock solid. There is 2 1/2" of clearance between the ramps and the belly pan of the trailer.

I have carried a long handle shove under another truck for around 200,000 miles.

Triple axle equi-flex, I'm sure each axle will flex independently depending on road surfaces. You may limit the travel of each axle or damage the ramps if the middle axle contacts the center of the ramp.

Would it not be safer to fashion some hangers and hang the ramps from the frame rails away from the axles' travel?

I hadn't thought about that. Thanks. That is why I am posting this here, to get thoughts other than my own. I will research that.

Too much sun over there in Arizona, that'll do it to ya. I know, lived in AZ for almost 30 years and 20 years down south in Mexico and I was sitting around thinking about getting a job. Now there's a brilliant idea for you!

I have to ask this question............why do you need ATV rams with your toy hauler

I was wondering when someone would ask that question.

There are times when you might want to ride a trail that begins some miles from where you are camped. And the toy hauler is not always capable getting to or fitting at those trail heads or you just want to make it a day trip from camp. In states like Arizona, Utah, Idaho and others you can ride the ATV on country roads and do so. But not in California or Colorado. In those states you can smoke all the weed you want but don't dare use their highway with a vehicle they don't like. I guess Arizona is a medical marijuana state now also.

So if I pull my fifth wheel hitch out of my bed I am good to load up the ATV in the truck and hit even the most remote trail head.
