Broken Frameless Window

When we arrived at our campsite at Palo Duro Canyon State Park over the Thanksgiving weekend one of the frameless windows on the living room slide was broken out. We covered it with plastic wrapped foam board and blue painters tape to keep the weather out.

We just dropped it off at the dealer and they are going to call Dutchmen to see if they can get the individual panel or if we'll have to replace the entire window set.

Have any of you dealt with this and how was it resolved?

Thanks for your help.

Broken Frameless Window

When one of mine broke the dealer wanted $700 and several weeks to replace it frame and all. I took it to a local glass shop and they replaced just the glass for around $100. Same tint but the darker edge color was missing. Looks fine.

Mine busted from a trip to Big Bend a couple years ago. Truck dumped rocks going in the opposite direction. Two windows and the repaint of one side of my trailer was completed as part of an insurance claim.

I had the same thing happen in my 3605. Mine was covered under warranty by the dealer.

What were the circumstances that allowed the dealer to cover it under warranty?

Thanks,
