Just added warm white led's around bed 1" from plywood base shining down giving off a great ambiance and we just tackled the RGB led lights for under the awnings, definitely need two people (paid in beer) and it helps to have a rolling scaffold, will post pics when time allows!

I'm sorry to be so dense but could you expound on this a little more. I don't think I understand exactly how you did this. A picture would help.

Thanks for the great pictures. I really appreciate you taking the time to do that. Where is a good place to buy those fancy LED lights?

One ebay seller in New Mexico has a ton of them. All colors, 110 and 12 volt and you pick the length. Two different tube sizes, free shipping and clips for hanging.

I use blue LED rope with a dimmer and light activated switch to lite up the floor around the bed so the dog doesn't get crunched in the middle of the night.

4 meters of blue rope LEDs will cost around 28 bucks including shipping.

Can you explain how you wired the lights under your awnings? I have tried to figure out a good way to hide the power wiring.

Ordered most of the lights from ebay, superledlights.com was the shipper/middleman. For around the bed just ordered 12' warm white rope led 110V that plugs in by nightstand, for awning lights just order (2) 5 meter/16'4" 5050 RGB waterproof as a kit, then order RGB extension cord to run down awning tube and I just plug into 110V outlet on side of camper or 110V outlet under side storage compartment.

When I get back to the camper, will take pictures of power line to 110V, just ran black RGB extension cable down awning tray with black tie raps, then when ready to power up, plug in cord at bottom leg of awning with power converter and RGB controller in a controlled (dry) element....
