Bedroom slider 3990 2014 voltage.

The bedroom slider only goes in smooth when hooked to 5th wheel and all weight is on front and all levelers are up. I think a an aluminum stringer is bad.

Ok thanks, I have interstate deep cycle. I will put new ones in. They don't keep a good charge anyway.

Same issue

I have the same issue with my 3305 Voltage. Long story short, discovered after motor failure that the slide could not be moved manually by two men (one of whom was the technician sent to fix it) until I put it on the fifth wheel and raised the landing gear. I now believe the motor failure was due to overamperage draw due to excessive resistance. Now I extend and retract this before lowering or after raising the gear. Not being familiar with the framing under the pretty stuff I can only assume there is some kind of wracking going on. If anyone has another idea I would be happy to consider it. Also, did replacing the battery fix your problem?

Put in new group 24 deep cycle bimart maintenance free ones. Slider goes in and out now. I tried it several times. Note..i watched the you tube videos on lci swintech sliders to time motors and now hold buttons for 2 secs after out and in. And lubricated all items.
