Bed size help

2013 Voltage v3005

I want to buy a new mattress for the camper before our next trip. We do not keep our camper on our property so I can't determine myself. What is the size of the master bedroom mattress? Twin or Queen?
We have a King size in our house, and anything smaller I can not judge what it is.

Thanks

Have a V3005 and replaced right after I purchased RV. I bought a queen size. Wish it was a king

You will want to measure, a "True" Queen is 60" x 80" some of the matresses in RVs are 60" x 72". It's important if you have something at the foot of the bed that would limit the length.

Rick I agree but in a Voltage the master bed is a true queen size. Now the frame platform is another story. Quite a few of us Voltage owners have had to do a modification to that.

Yup, and I did the revised design for the bed in Autodesk Inventor and can share the drawings in pdf if someone would like to have them.

Today there is 5/8" OSB to 1 inch from both sides of the mattress and 1 inch to the end foot end of the mattress. Much, much better!!!

I have the same camper and it is a true queen bed. We did a 3" gel topper on ours and it made a world of difference, the topper was a fraction of the cost of a new mattress.

Amen! We bought a 2" gel foam top, and even that's enough for us. (Three inches would be nicer, though!)
