Remember that you are also carrying some of the trailer weight on the truck. In my case, there is 3400lbs on the hitch, so that even at the gross weight of my trailer (19000lbs) there is only 15,600lbs on the tires. Divide that by 6 and each tire is only carrying 2600lbs, which is WELL below the max capacity of the G614's. If you look at the Goodyear Tire Inflation chart on their website, you can run 80psi with no problem. I have personally called the Goodyear tire engineering dept. On this subject, and they state that you should not run the tire under inflated for the weight that you are carrying. He said that it is perfectly OK to run at a lower pressure so long as the tire is not overloaded at that pressure.
