AC Fan Cycling

Mid-90's in OK ... Living room AC fan has started cycling off for a few seconds and then kicking back on. Compressor keeps running. Fan control is set to auto. Still kicks out cool air.

Haven't pulled the AC grill or the thermostat to check wiring.

Any thoughts from the HVAC gurus out there?

With the fan in auto, it will change from lo to hi (or hi to lo) depending on how close the indoor temp is to the set point. IIRC it will change from lo to hi if the indoor temp reaches 4 or 5 degrees above your setpoint. When it does change speeds, it will cycle off for a few seconds and then come back on at the different speed.(The compressor keeps on running.)
