3950 Rear Fuel Tanks

Can someone explain the tank(s) to me. Two filler caps. One or two tanks? Which tank is the pump connected to? Which tank does the generator pull from?

Thanks everyone.

Scott

On my unit the tank in the rear is for the Generator (tank one), the front tank(tank two) is the pump.

That's the way all Voltages are set-up. I use my front pump tank for extra diesel for my tow vehicle.

Depending on the year and package, the rear (generator) tank will be 30-gallon and the forward (pump) tank will be 44-gallon.

My V3800 advertises two 30 gal tanks. No way would I step out there and say 'that's the way all.................' when it comes to a Dutchman product.

Didn't mean size ment rear tank is generator & front tank is pump tank. If you look under at the tanks the gallons will be stamped on a tag.
