The 1 ton dually steps back up to leaf springs, other than that the capacity is roughly the same. The hitch weight between the 3305 and 3605 is about 400lbs, but loaded the 3305 is almost as heavy as the 3605. I did install a set of Timbren load levelers which increased my load capacity even more, and here in TX we will be pulling 90% of the time on flat ground.

I like the 3605 also but I think the 3305 suits us best. I found one online for just under 50k but I want a couple of options it don't have. I have a 2007 silverado classic 2500 and the only difference between it and the 3500srw is springs. Easily remedied but I still don't want to overload my rear tires. Most "nicer" haulers I've looked at with 12ft garage have a lot more hitch weight. Thats why I am interested in the v-series. Anyone know if the full body paint is offered as an option on the v-series?

V-series doesn't have the full body paint option but does have just about everything else you get with the Voltage series. No triple axle as the V-series does weight less. We also looked at a V3305 but just didn't care for single door frig & smaller shower. 12' garage was nice but only lost a foot with the V3605. Gained a double door frig & larger shower. 2013 V3305 was $50k got 2014 V3605 for $58k

Dunno DesertRat, I'm sitting in a V3800, 2013 year and it has three axles stuck under it.

No 3 axle V-series for 2014. Yours might be called a V3800 but sure isn't a V-seires. V-series doesn't have the 3rd a/c option in the garage. Inside lights aren't flush mounted. Bathroom sink isn't the glass bowel type. MSRP sure isn't much over 90k

The v3800 is not the v-series according to the voltage website. It is considered a "voltage hauler" which is the more expensive voltage. Yea, DesertRat, the 12 cu.ft. frig is one of the options I want, along with bedroom ac and outside tv. Thinking about not getting the generator. That should save some hitch weight and a few thousand dollars. I doubt I would ever use one anyway. It would probably be just something else I would have to worry about getting gummed up with ethanol gas like my mower, weedeater, motorcycle, etc.

I have a 2013 V3800, says so on the door sticker. I have three axles, 4 door refrigerator, puck ceiling lights and even the cute glass vessel sink in the bathroom.
Also, the Dirt Devil built in vacuum system.
Maybe all this has changed, someone stuck on a V3800 sticker on door or it is whatever it is. I didn't build it, only paid the bucks for it as I wasn't concerned if it was a V series or not. It has a 12 foot garage with half bath and stub out for washer and dryer.
I've heard the V series are a lesser line than the non V series but if it all comes down to another A/C it's probably not that much different.

3,000lbs that's with about 40 gal of H2O a generator both propane tanks full & 10 gas of gas in the rear tank. Had 11,020 on both axles so was right about 14,000 lbs semi- loaded. Once I have the rear tanks full & both motorcycles in it will weight more but might have a little less hitch weight.
