3800 sofa

I would like to replace the two recliners with center console with a sofa with storage under. The recliners are too short to be of any use and heat and message not useful. Has any one done this and if so, with what?

The furniture they put in our rigs changes from year to year, so I'm not sure exactly what you have.

That said, many of us have removed & replaced our furniture with other items. Your only limitation is the size of the doorway(s) you have for them to fit through.

You can fit just abut anything in a camper as long as long as the backs can be taken off.

We replaced our chairs with a lazyboy love seat, that I reworked into seperate chairs and put an infrared heater between them.

I'm not sure you will find what you are looking for in a household unit that will have a removable back.

Thanks for the reply, the door from the garage to the main cabin has 36" clear opening. It should fit almost anything that will fill the 68" wide space left if I remove the recliners. After looking around on the net l may be better off having a drawer bank built and using cushions on top for seating.
The hunt continues.
Cheers,
Ron Peck

With a 36" door you can get just about any thing in there as long as you can clear the door height. I can't recall how they did it, if they stood it up or just tilted it, but the movers got our 72" sofa into the house (36" door) with out any problems.

You may be widen your search.
