Yep, have to space these things out or there won't be anything to do tomorrow.

Completed the project this morning by making final adjustments and adding more screws to secure everything in place.

Gotta admit, feeling pretty good about this, as I'm not much of a framer or into home construction projects.

Actually, they were pretty good about it. Rode by on their chores a couple of times in the golf cart while I was into it. The owner asked a few questions, and said as long as I wasn't going to have table saws & constant hammering going on, it was ok with him. Told him all I needed was a cordless drill and a few hand tools... and except for the machine shop work I needed, that was about it.

I just contacted Miguel at Giant RV Wildinar, CA. He quoted me $3,400 to $3,500. He said it would be about 15 hrs labor. I think he's full of crap.
Please let me know if this is the location you used !
Thanks

3 Season Patio Doors

ATVguy, do your doors have bushings at the top where you pull the pin to open them? In windy times mine rattle and was wondering why I don't have them, maybe they didn't come with them.

I bought my 2014 3990 at the RV show in Dallas, and they gave away the farm...I was way upside down on the 5'ver i traded in, so i know they took a huge loss on it, and i had them install the 3 season doors in the back for free!. there were a couple of other things that gave me as well, but don't remember what they were. I bought the show model, and was told it was the first one built...thought all my problems were because of that until i started reading this forum...now i see it is a Dutchmen problem..lol

anyway, we love our doors. we camp at a private campground here in Texas for 10 days in the summer, and we leave the ramp in patio mode for the whole trip, unless it is pouring down rain.

I too am very interested in having a 3 Seasons Sliding door also. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to contact someone who installs these. I have a retractable screen on my 2016 Dutchmen Voltage 3605. Hopefully I can keep both but its probably not likely.

I am assuming you guys are referring to Mesquite Texas, not Mesquite AZ ??
I am closer to Mesquite AZ.

I spoke to Richardsons RV and Giant RV, they can both get the doors and install them.
However, they will not work on some units. They check by your vin number. They would not work on ours because of the door.
I have heard someone in this forum that moved their happy jac system forward n they worked. Also someone else on the forum custom made their own.
Both RV dealers are located in California, Riverside county.

Thanks for the info. I bought my RV at Richardsons. I'll give them a call.
