2014 Voltage 3950 "CAP LIGHT"

Can anyone that has a 2014 3950 tell me what the "CAP LIGHT" switch on the front left extreior turns on? I have gone outside at 3:30 am and flipped it on and nothing, nada, zilch! Contacted Dutchmen/Keystone and this was his response:

Thank you for contacting Keystone RV. In regards to your email, don the CAP Light switch is for a light that is mounted at the front cap that will give off light to the hitch pin area if that light is not coming on we should have a dealer check to see if the wires have fallen off the back of the light or if the bulb is out or if we have a bad ground Etc.

I "politely" replied (OK maybe not too politely, but I don't deal too well with stupidity and silliness) telling him that is what the DOCKING LIGHT switch right next to it turns on. I also contacted the dealer that I bought it thru but no answer there either. There are wires connected to it on the backside.

Attached is a pic - anyone???

Cap light on my V3605 turns on 2 blue LED lights that run in a recessed area on the front of the cap. Kind of looks like a V but bottom doesn't meet.

I may be way out in left field here, but just a guess. I remeber some of the older nose (or CAP) pieces on the Infinity's would light up. any chance it might be that with a loose wire? any way to look behind the headboard to see if there is a light in the nose?

My '14 3895 has a single unmarked switch by the generator hatch that turns on the front docking lights.

What I did find strange is that all the exterior lights have a switch on the monitor panel... Except the exterior light on the door side between the bedroom window and the front "CAP" operates off the Lippert remote.

Is there any way you could send a pic of this? I am very curious if this is on mine.

Thanks! Now I know where to look! The LED under the awning on mine is controlled by a switch insode and from the small white remote as I suspect yours is the same, but I know where to look now. Next is how to get to them as mine are not lighting up. That would have jumped right out at me when I flipped the switch in the wee hours one morning and walked around it.

Thanks again!
