Check the socket for signs of corrosion. If it is corroded clean it as best you can then try it. If that is the problem you have moisture getting in to the light fixture. Get a tube of dilectic silicone put a small amount in the fixture.
Using a multi-meter of test light to check for power at the socket. Pull the switch and check for power at the switch.
I assume that you have checked the fuse and it is good. Next look for a bad connection. They RV manufacturers are using inline feed taps, they too are prone to corosion if there is moisture getting to it. They also use marrettes, which can rattle off if they have not been twisted on tight enough.
If you don't have a wiring diagram, pull the fuse that controlls the light then check behind the fixture closest to you welcome home light. That is most likely where the power for the light is coming from. If that one is good keep tracing the circuit back to the next fixtures down the line until you have confirmed them all.
If all that fails then I would suspect a broken wire.
Good luck in finding the problem.
