Tire Flatspotting

I have a 2014 voltage 3605 and we are workamping in the CA coast redwoods until Sept. Been here since April. I wonder? Might my tires flat spot. They are upgraded Hankook HT10 ,load range H, 5ply tread. Probably 3 yrs old.

I would think that they may develop a spot on them from sitting but that should "round" out after you have driven them for a while. probably no worse than storing the trailer for a period of time. Do you cover your tires? Are you missing the summer in Boone?

Thanks Frank
The redwoods are pretty thick here so the sun hardly gets down to ground level except in patches that move with the sun. I don't have covers on them. We were in Boone last winter at 14 degrees down to -#'s and ran from the frigid cold to workamping here in CA. And ATC thanks, your comment "rounds" out this thread.

We were in Boone in April and may (Yeah, it FROZE and the winds at the campground were 60 mps and it rained 11"). all in all, a pretty good visit. My favorite place to camp. We even went to visit with Eustice on the Mountain Men set.

When

Whenever parking for more than a week you should inflate the tires to tire sidewall max. This applies to any type tire.

If you read the material list on the tire sidewall and see "Nylon" this becomes a MUST DO if you want to decrease the amounut of flatspottingin the tires.
