Storing during winter

Has anyone used the load leveling system to raise the entire camper up a couple of inches to relieve most of the weight off the tires for winter storage? I live in Texas and the trailer sits in the back yard for 4 months waiting on the freezing to end.
Are there any issues with storing a 5th wheel on the command 3 load levelers?

Thanks

For those interested I found the following on Dutchman's website:

http://www.dutchmen.com/blog/content...rization-tips/

Looks like Jacks down is their recommendation to save your tires.

Like most things, there are multiple options to complete the task

I block the frame to towing height for a quick getaway; jack system is unreliable after 20 degrees. I retract the rams entirely so their not exposed to the elements. I have 15,000 and four seasons on these tire, hoping to get another 5k out of them this fall.

I block the frame to towing height, the leveling system is unreliable in temperatures less than 20 degrees. I retract the jacks in the winter and whenever I'm not using the trailer for and extended time so their not exposed to the weather, then cover the tires on the sunny side. The tires have 15,000 miles, hope to get another 5k this fall.

I am new to leveling jacks hence the original question. My leveling jacks are electric motor screw type not hydraulic. Does that 20 degree threshold include the electric jacks?

Thanks,
Ricky

Mine are hydraulic, I should think electric would be fine.
