We have a 2013 Denali 5th wheel. The floor between the kitchen counter and the wall with the TV on it flexes, I think dramatically, when we walk near there. Our dealer says that's because that's where the heat duct runs and that there's no reinforcement across there. Has anyone else had this happen and does it seem to be a reasonable explanation?
Most dealer explanations are questionable.
The duct work is probably no more than a four inch flexible hose. One would think the duct would run under the floor instead of through it but only those that have replaced the flooring knows.
I know most of my duct work is the flexible hose and the only actual real sheet metal duct is over head at the A/C return air.
But that's my unit so yours may be different.

In response to an email I sent Dutchmen inquiring about the 3 year warranty, they asked me for my VIN. I sent it to them but have had NO response since I sent it. That was Monday.
The idea about walking in a similar unit is a good one. Don't know about our ductwork but the floor vents are 2x10 and sheet metal inside for whatever that's worth.
We're in it for 6 months in the winter - I'm tempted to put a piece of plywood over the whole floor.

I have a 2017 Denali 307RLS which had the same issues yes issues two places. Since those issues came at the same time as another issue repairs were under warranty. What was found with the floor was the plywood seams were NOT on the floor joists thus flexing. They opened the bottom and added bracing and its great now. Bravo to Keystone/ Dutchmen
