Dripping kitchen tap - 2009 Denali 5er - 31 RKBS-M5

The kitchen faucet is dripping (hot water). Took the handle off the hot water tap, tightened the white hard plastic fastener. Still dripping as we don't want to tighten too much. Is there a place we can replace a washer in the tap? Reaching underneath to get to the underside is impossible due to the double sink being in the way, and unable to reach up and behind it to get to the bottom sides of the mechanism securing the taps.

Also, thinking of replacing the entire faucet/tap set but again, same problem of trying to get at the mechanism underneath.

Anyone have this same situation with solutions? Remember, it may be a bit different if you don't have the exact Denali 5er.

Just curious, is the hot water dripping into your sink, or under your sink into the cabinet? Reason I ask is our 2013 Denali 262rlx is dripping (very slowly) from what I believe is the hot water line into the drawer under our sink, and I'm going to try and get that fixed soon. Just curious if you were able to find a solution as I'm digging into mine this weekend on our first trip out in 2015.

The water is dripping into the sink from the faucet. If I really tighten the tap area, the dripping stops, or when the water finally heats up, it also stops dripping....this tells me it is the tap mechanism. I will be fixing it this weekend and hopefully it ISN'T dripping into the cabinet.

I would consider replacing the faucet set. Most of the ones I have seen in RV's are cheap plastic. You need a basin wrench to reach up underneath to loosen them up, or take the sink completely out and replace them that way. Which is what I suspect Dutchmen does... install the faucets then the sink.

Yes, thinking of changing the entire faucet set.....been pricing and can't believe they are that expensive! Did pick up a basin wrench as you suggested, but haven't thought about taking the whole sink out and replace the faucet- which, as you stated, may be the better way.....will be doing it this weekend.

Faucets aren't cheap... except the ones the seem to put in RV's. I was in a $250,000 motor home at a show and could not believe they were using the plastic Phoenix brand in it. I have bought brand name stuff on clearance sale at Home Despot and Lowe's and saved it for use in rental properties or in a few cases my own property.

I don't know how the sinks are installed on your unit, on some they are put in place with adhesive. BTW those quite often are plastic too.
