Yes first four were G-614 Goodyears. Teton has two axles rated at 7k each. GVWR is 14,995 so lighter then my Voltage. Twice I had two tires fail with in 10 miles of each other. Yes yes yes I know I should have bought the 17.5 long before I did.
. So my take is if you have a three axle trailer the load rated 16" tire isn't carrying the weight a two axle trailer does. Yes switching to the 17.5 with rims & tires aren't cheap. With all the tires I replaced & the damage I fixed I spent way over that price. ( the $4,000 repair was covered under insurance - my $250.00 deductible)
