Black H2O Sanatizer leaking

I am on my maiden voyage with my new 2013 286REX 5th wheel and have come accross various "bugs" with my rig. One that I have is that when I hook up my water connection to the blackwater sanatizer inlet and turn the water on it leaks under the belly of the trailer. Natrually the Polar cover covers up everything so you cant really see where it is leaking from. Any ideas ??

If the inlet is not filling up your black tank, there are several post on this forum about the anti siphon valve on the Sani-Flush being installed backwards.

My Sani-Flush inlet on the rear bath "drips" from the fender well about a quarter size spot while in use. That's not enough for me to be concerned about.

To reverse the check valve or to find a substantial leak you'll probably need to take down the basement wall. You should find it very interesting to see the guts of your new trailer.

I believe I would have to take out the panel that houses the cable, regular water hookup and electric. I guess when I get back into town I will bring it in for some warranty work. When I did my walk through they didnt have a hose available

Ours leaked, also. It ended up being the pex connectors in behind the basement wall. Hopefully, the dealership techs are bright enough to figure it out for warranty, although............I do have my doubts where there were no water hoses available during your PDI.

Aah! maybe you can supply your own water hose during the warranty fix.

A pex fitting is what I figured as well, but who knows. As far as the hose there was no hose at the place the walk thru was held. Also had a bad themostat on my heater I was able to get that taken care of.

Should have updated this sooner. I got back and had the RV dealer look at at and he found a loose fitting behind the wall. They tested it out all OK. I get back to the campground and getting ready to move the next day and I am checking things out. It was still leaking but not as much, they came ou to the CG and tightened another leaky connection. I couldn't really see what he was doing but his arm was quite a ways in. I wonder what they tested the first time. I have used it since and it is working great
