Area lights

I own a 2007 model 28RL Denali fifth wheel. Bought it used last year, and put a lot of miles on it already. It seems to be a very solid trailer.
This trailer has two white lights in the front cap, referred to as area lights.
My lights have both developed leaks and need to be replaced, but I have never been able to determine the exact function of these light, and I cannot find the switch that turns them on.
Can anyone please help me?

Are they up high or down low? If they are low, the lights are to help you see your hitch while hooking up in the dark. Can't tell you where the switch might me for you but on my unit it is just above the landing gear switch.

These lights are mounted high, almost to the roofline. They are at the same level as the two clearance lights on top, but are situated more to the center.

I have no idea then. We'll have to see if someone else chimes in.

I believe they call them scare lights, a decent replacement can be found at etrailer.com

they are 6 in in diameter
