It's a 50 amp, all I want to do is run the lights and maybe microwave from time to time and maybe the heater furance.

What do you guys think about using this, so should I consider this?

The link doesn't work for some reason.

An adapter like this is what you want. Less than $20 at Wal-Mart

Avoid using an extension cord if at all possible.

The furnace blower runs on 12 volt so that won't be a problem to use that. Just watch how much stuff you turn on at once and don't forget that the converter will be pulling anywhere from 1-10 amps depending on how many 12 volt items you have powered up and if the battery(s) are being charged or not.

Oh sorry about that, the link is not working for me, but I have the twist locking 50 amp plug into the TT.

With the adapter I linked to you put your twist lock 50 amp cord on then plug into the adapter.

I think I know which one you were looking at, is it a twist lock 50 amp to 15 amp adapter? Then you would have to run a light gauge extension cord. The ONLY way I would do that would be with a 50' 12 gauge cord, nothing lighter or longer.

That cord is a 25 ft. long that goes to the 50 amp, I was trying to get away from that, so I order this on amazon a couple of days ago and I should get it tomorrow.https://www.amazon.com/Conntek-14422...15+amp+adapter

BTW: I have this adapter to go to my 30 amp but I have to use my long 50 amp and my 30 amp adapter to get power.https://www.amazon.com/Conntek-Male-...+amp+to+15+amp
