TV mount Aspen Trail

Looking for suggestions on proper screw size for wall block for TV mount in bedroom. Knowing that the screws that come with mount are way too long, thought it be helpful to ask what size did you use in bedroom TV install. I read a few people used ones too long damaging the siding. Not about to tackle that to happen.

Max 1.5", 1.25" might be better. If you are using an inside wall double check the total thickness of it. I have seen some that were only 3/4" thick.

I used 5/16" diameter 1 1/4" lag screws on my aspen trail 1900rb.. our walls are about 1 1/2" thick and with the thickness of the bracket, the 1 1/4" screws worked just fine... Pull them up snug, be careful not to overtighten..

All the best.
