Stabilizers
Who uses trailer stabilizer kits? What are you using and what would you recommend? How difficult are they to install? All pro and cons would be helpful. I need to do something, getting sea sick in there😔

These are supposed to be the best out there, they have a few good videos on the site. I keep planning on getting them, but life keeps happening.

I just finished installing our stabilizers on our Kodiak 300BHSL. Our first trip with them will be next month and will post how much of a difference it makes especially with two full-grown children.

Maybe, and the stock ones may not do the job. My 16' Coleman only came with them on the rear. They use the same basic stabilizers on everything from a 3500# trailer to a 20,000# one. Also depends on which way they are mounted and where.

Mine came with scissor jacks on the four corners but I was assuming he was talking about other types, I still feel bouncing when mine are down,, cant lift the trailer in the air off the axle springs. Mine still feels a bit washy.( if washy is a word) I can still feel movement.

New guy here, in fact this is my first post. Just bought a 2017 Aspen Trail 2750BHS. Reading thru the forums and stumbled across this post. Maybe you all can clear something up for me. I thought the stabilizers were the scissor jacks on all 4 corners of the trailer. Is that not correct or is the stabilizer something else? I'll be honest this is my first camper and I'm so new to this when I first clicked on this post I thought it was going to be about some sort of towing stabilizer. Don't take me long to figure out it was about stabilizing the trailer from side to side rocking but again I thought that was what the scissor jacks were for.

The corner scissor jack are not stabilizers. The scissor jacks do provide a bit of "stabilization" but as you will find out, when you walk around within the trailer, you will feel the trailer sway.
After I installed the JT Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer from CW ( JT Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer System - Travel Trailer Kit - Lippert Components Inc 191025 - Stabilizing Jacks - Camping World) they made quite a difference.
Watch some of the videos that are out there and you will see what a difference stabilizers make.

You are correct, they are stabilizers.
