Edward add what type of RV you have, most of the walls overlap the pan and should be water proof, but sometimes they don't match up well, so I would add cauk

I had to re-caulk ALL areas in my shower; especially the area between the walls and the glass walls...

I have a tub/shower in my TT. It doesn't look like there is a tub flange that the shower walls can overlap with. I can't see the area very well so I'm unsure if there is an overlap or not. I called Dutchmen and asked them but they were no help. Seems like it would be simple enough to call the factory and have someone look at the tub, or in your case the shower pan, to see if there is a flange for the shower walls to overlap. You would think this would be true on any RV tub or shower walls. Would like to get an answer from someone. I can always calk with silicone but I would still be concerned with the caulk failing as the TT goes down the road and flexes.

All RV tubs I have seen have a flange. My camper doesn't have shower walls, just the regular vinyl coated panels. They did put silicone at the top of the tub flange. I may add shower walls in the future, or maybe not. We don't use our shower very often, due to the compact size. Not to mention extremely small gray tank capacity.

Before we took ours out, we had dealer seal with silicone around entire walls of shower stall.
