Sometimes the dealer will throw in a "RV Starter Kit" Like a sewer hose, 30 amp electric cord, water hose, etc... Walmart has stuff they do not supply like for instance; I bought a sewer hose attachment, the orange leveling blocks, and you will need a 30 amp to convert to a 120 volt house extension cord too. I also bought a Camco Power Defender; has already saved my RV from low voltage at a campground. I got alot of my extra stuff on Amazon and eBay! Much better deals!! Since you are towing with a 2500 Diesel, you won't need a weight distribution hitch/anti sway bar. The Travel Trailer you are getting is an UltraLite and a 2500 Diesel should have no problem towing that weight. If you feel that you need a weight-distribution hitch/anti-sway, you could always purchase it later. Congratulations on your new Travel Trailer!

Once you get to your first campsite, walk around the campground and you will undoubtedly see things that you could use. Some things that come to mind:
1. Supports for sewer hose
A. If you have two dump valves underneath, I would suggest
getting a "Y" adapter for the sewer hoses as well.
B. Additional lengths of hoses.
2. In-line water purification filter.
3. Extra water hoses
4. Spare Fuses
5. Spare light bulbs ( or replace them with LED's)
6. Blocks for under front jack and stabilizers.
7. Wheel chucks.
8. Cable TV cord(s)

I know there are more things... you will be surprised how much there is.

P.S. You will forget something so don't worry... enjoy it; but have a pad of paper handy to write down things you need to pick up...

Good Luck!

Everyone has a different camping style and everyones list of must haves is based on personal experience.

For me, I must have my "road repair" kit.

The basic accessories that Matt gave you covers the basic essentials, I would suggest you take your rig home find out what you got in the deal, then make a list and go shopping. If you're chomping at the bit to get out for the weekend, go to Wally's World and pick up what you need. For the rest of the stuff, save a big chunk of change and shop around on line.

We have found that keeping a small notebook in the trailer. That way when you are out camping and find something you need or want to have in the trailer it allows you to make a note of it and mark it off as you place in the trailer.

Papers and pencils, what are those? They take up weight and space. Cellphones make good note pads.

My bride is infamous for taking pictures of what other people have...

I keep reminding her that storage is limited, not to mention we do have a cargo weight limit!
