Do all of your Kodiak 291 resl campers have the counter that lights up on the edges, and how do you turn them on and off?
The reason that I am asking is because I am looking at a new 2016 and the counter does not light up. It has me a little confused because it is the only 291resl that I have seen that does not do that, and I really like the lights.
We have the Kodiak 240bhsl, different model, but there's a light switch under the cabinet, above the sink that turns our countertop edge lights on. Hope you find it!

Thank you for the reply! Is the wiring for the lights visible under the sink? Also, when the lights are off, can you tell that they are there there? I do not think that the one I am looking at has the feature. I am now wondering if I could add it myself. Trying to figure out if the counter tops are the same and he one I am looking at is just missing the lights, so I could just add an LED strip in it.
Our Trailer is in storage now, but I don't recall seeing any wiring under the sink. It's possible though. I'll check it out when we go out this weekend. You could always run a rope type LED under the countertop to have a similar effect. I'm sure it would work.
The lights on ours are embedded in the actual countertop. I wouldn't of known they were there if the salesman didn't show us. The switch is a typical looking light switch next to the white light under the overhead cabinet (see picture). I wish I had a pic of them lit up. I love it. Perfect so my kids can find the bathroom at night, but not bright enough to bother anyone whatsoever. definitely classy! I absolutely love our Kodiak.
Thank you everyone for the help! The trailer I am looking at does not have the counter with the glowing edge. I contacted Dutchmen and they told me that any 2016 that was made before September of 2015 will not have it. The dealer can order it and put it in, but I was told it would cost 2k! Hope this helps someone out there!

Get the trailer anyways and install it yourself for a fraction of the cost.
You'll love the layout of the 291. We do.
