wow, that's an interesting problem. your bedroom is at the opposite end of your RV's bathroom. Where is your dehumidifier located? Are you getting any condensation on your windows? Have you checked your roof lately? is your RV level or down in front and a little to the right? Do you cook in your RV? Boil water?

Randy's right about the mold and stuff.

Are you sure that the source of the moisture is not your exhaled breath through the night? Similar to how condensation forms on the inside of a tent while camping. If you skip a night sleeping in the trailer, do you have the same moisture issue in the morning?

Sorry that I didn't specify that my dehumidifier is one of those stand-alone plugin floor unit on wheels I got from Home Depot.

You're right, I could very well have mildew and mold and have to replace the ceiling panels. Just need to figure out how to take them off first. How are that attached anyway, I am assuming they're pretty standard with Dutchman and models around year 2015?

As an update my Ivation is five years old. It quit working upon tearing it apart I found the fan bound up with dust turned to dirt and very hard to move. I removed the sticky cover off the bottom of the fan and pried out the rubber gasket. It was dry as sand. Using 3 in1 oil I worked the fan sopping up the dirty residue. Soon the fan would spin freely making many turns with a spin. I oiled it liberally and replaced the rubber plug and sticky cover. Now working like new. I should have paid to attention when the fan sounded like it was sluggish. I'm sure it will run another five years.

I am surprised that breathing at night could cumulate that much moisture and enough to drip through the ceiling. But I guess that's very possible, because we have seen condensation on the windows but thought it was from shower and cooking like franktafl had mentioned.

I'm actually living in the trailer parked in my backyard while my house is being slowly and totally renovated. Had been in here for over a year but didn't leak until this year. Could it be the ceiling just so saturated that it can not absorb anymore water and just leaks out?

The floor dehumidifier is just sitting in the middle of the trailer and we don't close the bedroom "doors". After I found this post, I have left it on over night. Despite waking up with dry throat, the ceiling has not leaked since!

I would have not guessed it would be from breathing and didn't even rule that in as a possible source. Really hoping that's it, but the amount of water... hahaha.

Well, now I think I need to replace my ceiling panels because they're most likely full of mold. Also, would putting in insulation above the ceiling help? Just wondering what I can do to prevent this after I fix it up.
