How do I fix the pealing or separation on the awning at the top?

That looks like the "cover" portion of the awning. No fix that I know of, other than replacing the fabric. How old is it? What brand? Still under component manufacturer warranty?

Obviously delaminated, several possibilities as to cause.

IF you had no other choice, I would trim away the the pieces that are no longer sticking then maybe replacing those areas with awning repair tape or maybe even Flex Tape.

Good Luck! Please keep us posted as to what you do.

Not under warranty its a 2006 Kodiac. I bought it to live in while my house was raised from Super storm Sandy. Its in my back yard and I live in it on and off. Made it through 2nd summer and lived in it through the winter. I want to fix it before I sell it.

I used Gorilla tape to repair mine. Lasted a few years until the cords running down the side finally broke. Then I ordered replacement fabric from Dometic. Not too hard to replace but takes a minimum of two people to remove and replace.

How 'bout white flex spray? I've got the same thing and I'm going to try it.

The tape sounds like the way to go. The flex spray I don't know if it will sick. Then when you roll it up, and then open it again it might stick to itself and peal. But it's an idea. Let me know if it works.
It's not leaking and the fabric is good. Its the vinyl that is coming off. I'm going to really look at it next weekend. My back is really killing me. Can't do much right now.

sounds like it should work...

https://www.gorillatough.com/product...-gorilla-tape/

of course, CAMCO thinks they have a fix also although upon reading some of the reviews, not so great. I think I would use the gorilla tape. Here's one of the reviews

For the price and quantity, this tape is not worth it. Gorilla tape makes the same tape for repairs and it comes with more tape for about the same price. We have learned that all the stuff on the market that is meant for camping, you can find the same stuff for cheaper if you look around.

Yes this is gorilla tape in black on my subaru sunroof. It lasted almost 2 yrs. I just had to replace it. The heat this summer and sun made it come lose. It melted and started coming off has I drove. I'll give it A try

I can attest that gorilla tape does not work on Choroplast underbelly. Maybe sunroofs, yeah. Lol

I bought that AP Products 022-BP4180 tape for underbelly repair. First look, the tape is really thin, sticks like crazy and the stuff is really strong because it's reinforced. It's expensive kinda but if it works, it will be worth having in the tool box.

Time will tell.

Be very interested in your opinion. I tried this one below and it fell off the Choroplast in less than a week without even moving.

Looks kinda the same as the one I have. that tape got mixed reviews but the stuff I have seems to have gotten all good reviews (if you can believe them). Will know for sure shortly. RV in shop now for stuff that will require opening the bottom. I'll use this tape to seal their seal.

Haven't had a chance or should I say the health to try and fix it yet. I'm more concerned for my friend who was going to help. But got Reactivated and who knows where he is going this time. Just praying for his safe return.
I found a place not far away who fixes awnings & sails in Freeport NY. Going to go speak to them and see if they will come and look at it.
In the meantime I'm going to start a thread on RV covers. Since I don't want to get it confused in this one. I did a search and see some threads. I need to put a RV storage cover on it this winter. I want to thank those who have replied so far.
