I can't play DVD's with higher ratings because the previous owner had parental controls in place. A four digit code is required to play an R rated DVD. The manufacturer said to press the reset on the front of the player...this did nothing. It still asks for a code. This trailer was bought used from a dealer so we don't know the previous owner. Anyone else have this issue? Or a solution to it?
Don't know for sure but after you press the reset, it might require a (new) code to be entered just so it has something in memory.
Try pressing reset then enter 0000 as your new code (or digits of your choice).
