fixing faded paint

I purchased a 2017 Coleman 2155bn and the front edge of the roof has a lot of sun fade. is there a way to fixed this other than repainting? buffing, or would that be a bad idea and possible cause leaks?

You can probably use a little rubbing compound to remove the dead paint and then wax it.

My 2014 kodiak is faded in the front also. They are both made by keystone
I have done things to it but it's still faded. So I have just waxed it an took the insert trims off
An resealed the corners with. Dicor corner seal kits. I bought on Amazon

Works well especially if followed up with their pure wax product. Take it easy around any decals though.

I use an orbital polisher/buffer to apply the oxidation remover using a foam bonnet and remove it with a clean microfiber cloth. Same thing with the wax.

Used similar on my fun finder, it had fiberglass sides. The process was three step.

My BIL had a Laredo bumper pull that turned from dark brown to completely white from oxidation. We tried everything from waxes to de-oxidizers with/without buffers. finally found Poli Glow (https://www.poliglow.ca/) which worked. I ended up doing the front of my Redwood with it 3 years ago as well due to fading. I need to do it again, but it works. Quite a bit of work-but worth it. Follow directions to a "T" though.
