First camp trip in the Aspen Trail

Spent 5 days in Martinsville at the speedway dry camping with thousands of other campers. Watched the race on Sunday.
Everything went well. Learned a lot from the other campers.
Everything worked as it should. I di have to get on the DW a couple times about water useage. Took my quadcopter up for some pics.
Looking forward to some more camping.

Welcome to the forum!! A great way to break in the TT at a Nascar race. I have Talladega on my list to do in the next few years.

How did your battery do?

Battery did fine. I had a Honda 2000 to run some. Didn't need it that much.
I have since bought the Honda eu2000 companion to parallel to get 4000 watts. Much easier to move around the 2 verses the guys with the Honda 3000's.

Might be somewhat off topic, but what kind of quad copter do you have? I'm looking at some different DJI models to use with my GoPro.

Any recommendations?

DJI and the Blade 350 QX seems to be the top 2 ready to fly quads.
There is a ton of info on both.
I have the 350QX with my Gopro.
Both have some great features for learning to fly.
Search the forums for RC Groups.
You can spend weeks reading about them.
