Fantastic fan install

Has anyone here converted the bedroom overhead vent to a Fantastic Fan? The wiring for the ceiling light is pretty close to the vent and I assume I can wires push through the foam insulation?

Thumbs up

Just did this.... the vent over the bed was not a powered one, but the light was close by, right on the centerline of the roof. Upon pulling off the vent trim, several "sets" of wires were running thru( around). Check the light fixture and tie into those wires... since I would think the others are marker lights on the exterior.
I put in the maxxair model.... with remote... and what a upgrade that install is.

Just what I thought. I am adding a manual model to the bedroom ceiling and I plan to have (2) Maxxair vent covers put on this weekend.

Thanks for your input!

I put one of the MaxxAir fans in the bathroom. Wife is vertically challenged and could not reach the power button. Makes a BIG difference but get the fan with the SMOKE colored lid and NOT the clear lid.

I have the remote operated fan in the rear bathroom and am putting the manual over the bed. Both will get the black Maxx air vent covers installed this weekend if weather permits. I might also get to add the heat reflective film into the skylights.
