Everything Works!!!
With the weather breaking, I finally got a chance to try out everything on the new TT we bought in november. Air conditioner, microwave, furnace, water pump, tv antenna, refrigerator on elec and then gas, water heater on elec and then gas, stereo CD, DVD, all of the 110 v outlets, and the 12 V one and the all work. No leaks in the piping or tanks. Toilet flushes.
YAY!!!
All that's left is to find out if the exterior cable connection feeds thru the same cable jack as the antenna Didn't have a long enough piece of cable to run out to the TT...
Wife and I are ready to roll!!

The cable connection should be the same, but you have to turn off the amplifier and search channels again.

I have to admit that for a while I was really nervous, particularly after reading the horror stories in the various forums.. but then most of those posting are looking for help in solving problems.. Guess there's not much to post if all is well. Now I'm just gonna keep my fingers crossed and hope it stays that way..
All the best

Wow you're braver than me!! 1,700 miles first time out!! Did things work out the way you expected??
We're going to a local campground about 20 miles away, for our maiden voyage, along with friends who bought their TT at the same time as we did.. We plan to celebrate our first time out, comparing notes over some good food and drink..
May the wind be at your back, the road smooth, the weather clear, the people kind, and the good lord protect you and yours in your travels.

Have fun, Pat.
Now we expect to hear all about your first trip. Doesn't matter if it's 20 miles or 2000 miles, it still beats work. I hope your have one of these kind of trips , but if you have one of these , or or , we expect to hear how it went.

Thanks Jim,
Can't wait.. Wife and I hit Walmart yesterday for kitchen stuff. We should be going out next weekend, if all goes well. I imagine we'll come back with enough to post a story or two and few pics as well..
Might even have a few of or moments, but expect to have mostly these
All the best..

Everything worked perfect on our camper the first time...
Then within a year the fridge was replaced, the air conditioner was replaced, the stove almost burned our camper down and the outside kitchen door strut ripped out of the wall. Besides that, it was fine.
Just take the inevitable in stride and have fun.
